Rick Hanson is a senior sales executive with over 25 years of experience and has worked for notable brands including CA, HP Software, Symantec, and RSA. Rick ran HP’s Software business, where he was responsible for a team of 3,500 people and a $4B global number. He also ran HP’s Security business, where he oversaw a $1B business. Previously, Rick served as EVP of Global Sales for Skyport Systems, a startup in the hyper converged infrastructure space. Rick joined the Air Force out of high school, and grew up in the engineering space. He was eventually named Vice President of Worldwide Sales Engineering & Sales Methodology Training where he built the global SE organization for RSA Security from the ground up. He had responsibility for approximately 120 SE’s worldwide and focused on ensuring technical competency as well as shortening the sales cycle and concentrating on becoming a technical trusted advisor within accounts.
