He has also crafted key partnerships across leading telcos and OTT platforms for distribution of linear feed. With his experience, he helps in creating meaningful interactions with advertisers and further establishing the Republic TV brand in the market. He is also associated with Govt of India, Skill India Initiate as a mentor to new age entrepreneurs and start-ups. He is also a guest lecture for “Digital Media” at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology, Bharati Vidyapeeth Management Institute and many more.
Prior to joining Republic TV, Varun played a vital role in setting up new start-ups / verticals in India ie launching and setting up India business for artificial intelligence technology company, Appier Inc, for which he was heading India business. Prior to that Brand Solutions Vertical at Vserv Digital (Mobile ad solutions company), before that Economist Digital Business in India (Economist is one of most preferred global conetent brand) In his rich and eventful 13-year career through his different sales roles he has contributed in the growth of such brands like Appier, Vserv, Economist Online, Microsoft Advertising, afaqs! and Naukri.com.
